As a newcomer to Canada arriving in late June 2022, attending the Immigrants in Tech Summit 2022 event was a pivotal moment in my journey. Being new to the country and the tech landscape, I was eager to expand my network and learn about opportunities in the field. The event offered just that.

One of the highlights was meeting individuals like Tareq Hadhad, who came from a different corner of the world and successfully established a business in Canada. The support I received and the connections I made have been invaluable as I continue to establish my career in cybersecurity. I would highly recommend attending this event.

During this period, I discovered Scale Without Borders (SWB), which presented an invaluable
opportunity to learn Data Analytics using Python. Additionally, SWB organized insightful
sessions on effective job search strategies. The program, conducted online, provided
comprehensive guidance on understanding the Canadian job market, crafting a compelling
resume, optimizing my LinkedIn profile, participating in mock interviews and more.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire SWB team for offering me this
enriching opportunity. Their support did not conclude with the program, they continued to assist me even after its completion, providing guidance during my interviews.
