Open Roles
Two spots open right now — take a look below.
Content Creator
We're hiring a Content Creator to help us take our Instagram and TikTok to the next level — primarily through short-form video (Reels, TikToks) and meme/trend-driven content that actually gets people to stop scrolling.
What you'd be doing
- Planning, filming, and editing short-form video on a consistent posting cadence
- Creating meme and trend-driven content for our audience
- Managing day-to-day posting and community engagement across IG and TikTok
- Staying ahead of trending sounds, formats, and cultural moments
- Bonus: supplementary graphic content (carousels, static posts) if that's a skill you have
What we're looking for
- Must-have: strong short-form video skills, genuine meme literacy, and overall excellent recognition of trends and creating content around them
- Strong asset: general social media management experience (tools like Notion, Later, etc.)
- Nice to have: graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
How to apply
If that's you and you're interested, send:
- Your best TikTok, Reel, or meme — something you made, not something you liked
- Any social media handles you've managed
- A portfolio, if you have one
Events Coordinator
We're building one of North America's most powerful immigrant communities, and we're currently looking for an Events Coordinator to help us bring our community events to life (both in-person and virtual). This is a flexible part-time role, typically around 10 hours per week, with some weeks closer to 5 hours and others up to 15 hours depending on events and programming.
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience in community building and/or organizing events (student, volunteer, or part-time experience is absolutely fine)
- Has strong organizational and time management skills
- Is resourceful and able to think on their feet
- Can support event logistics (speaker coordination, vendors, registration/check-in)
- Can help lead and support volunteers
- Can create event pages (Luma)
- Is comfortable communicating with members via WhatsApp
- Can manage a general inbox
- Brings positive energy, reliability, and professionalism
- Has a flexible schedule and can attend both in-person and virtual events
